What is the difference between Edena and TokApp?
TokApp is a communication, payments and shop platform, with attendance and Tok.IA, that publishes an API to connect with the school's management software. Edena is the complete management software: student records, VERI*FACTU invoicing, SEPA direct debits, an admissions CRM, staff time tracking and family communication, on one platform.
Can I switch from TokApp to Edena mid-year?
Yes. We import students, families and groups, set up invoicing and onboard families onto the app. Most schools are up and running within two weeks, without disrupting the day-to-day.
Does Edena also send messages with read receipts?
Yes. Circulars and messages with read receipts, push notifications and automatic translation, without sharing personal phone numbers.
TokApp already collects payments and has a shop. What does Edena add?
Both have family payments and a shop. Edena adds invoicing: VERI*FACTU invoices, SEPA direct debits and arrears, in the same place as student records and enrolment. That does not appear in TokApp's public information.
Does Edena have artificial intelligence, like Tok.IA?
Yes. Tok.IA translates, reads messages aloud and answers through a chatbot. Ena, Edena's AI, does that kind of task and also carries out the school's work: it prepares invoices, drafts announcements and takes the register. You review and confirm.
Does Edena also replace the management software?
Yes. Edena includes student records, payments, invoicing, admissions and family communication. If you use TokApp alongside another management program today, Edena covers both on one platform. Migrating students, families and groups is included.
